An interesting take on nutrition and exercise - the best part is plenty of examples of practical application for the average person. Simple steps to form healthy new habits that really can change the way you look, and more importantly, the way you feel. A critical point here is that you can build habits that are sustainable - nothing "fad" based here.... You can make changes "for life" in every sense of the phrase.
Ryan has created a very easy to read and inspiring book. He uses the "opposites" approach which really makes you think! I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend it!

I'm about half way through it, and it's incredibly well written (plenty of good humor in it as well) and is packed with tons of nutrition and stats. Ryan presents the information in a way that's not too technical, so it's easy to comprehend. This book is quite compelling and thought provoking. The introduction alone made me re-think how I view food - from the types of food I eat to how I buy them as well. It's quite the eye-opener, and it also has me seriously contemplating switching to a plant based diet!
If everyone read this book and followed even a portion of what Ryan recommends, we would have a much healthier society and the world would be a better place.

Ryan is bruttaly honest, and give you many great tips towards getting healthy, changing your minset, changing your habits and behaviors and more. But if you're overly sensitive, the first few pages of this book will have you put it down.
Hey, no one likes to hear the truth. Especially, when it hits you "SMACK" in the face. Ryan calls it the way it is.
If you're looking for self-help book, this is not it. However, if you're looking for real, hard truth, then this book is for you.
This is an excellent book! Ryan does not mess around with telling you the habits of fat people. So to lose weight just do the opposite of what overweight people do. This is a quick read and I have re-read it several times also. Highly recommended!!
